  fear not merry campers. There was such a balls up with the web page that many orders were duplicated because people hit the refresh button so many times. The duplicates go on sale in a month I believe - keep a VERY close eye on the efestivals forums - www.efestivals.co.uk/forums

  BTW, I was online right through the night with my pc, mobile and landline going, I got through to the phoneline 5 times but my phone timed out each time because it rang for so long. In the end |I found a direct link on efestivals to one of the servers handling the ticket orders and avoiding the bottle neck of the load balancers and was able to get my order in no sweat at about 9am, though i looked like a frigging zombie all day yesterday

  Is anyone going to Glastonbury?

  decided on the spur of the moment to try and get some glastonbury tickets yesterday,as there were still 55, 000 left due to the system cock ups... had friends who stayed up til 5am trying on the friday night but none of us had any luck, mind you, with two teenagers and a child it's the equivilent of a small mortgage...did anyone here have any joy?

  i've just had a phone call this morning to say i had sunday tickets , the ones you can get if you live in somerset...ive got a phone number if anyone want to try it... so; if anyone wants to meet up to have a shamanistic dance or two, share moment in the tipi field or help me negociate the toilet block..... i'll be around...

  this will be my second, last year was awesome especially as it was my first. Had a real 'glasto moment' as I came up just as REM started playing 'everybody hurts'

  you are going to Glasto? Did you get a ticket? I got mine at 8am friday morning and looked like a zombie all day friday in work which wasn't a good idea as I was on a customer site

  i've been looking round for a holiday for this summer, and found for virtually the same price i could fly to canada and go backpacking.

  i know i want to go down to niagara falls, but i'm still looking at all the guides to see which other places i want to go to, and working out if i'm best off hiring a car or using the bus/train to get around.

  I spent a week in Montreal and drove up to Quebec city, it's fabulous and the old town is very much like Paris. Niagara is beautiful but the town is as tacky as it comes, I was a bit dissapointed. If you are looking to stay there is a great back packers place there run by a french guy. It's dead cheap and does a good breakfast.

  Price of gas....

  the price of gasoline sure is getting high, in my area it is about $1.65, i guess not too bad compared to other areas.

  i'm not too worried because my camry gets pretty good gas mileage and i don't usually have to commute too far.. however, i think this summer it may reach over $2 in many areas.

  i just wonder how this will affect summer aux.

  We pay £0.80 per litre, that's nearly £3.50 for a real gallon or about $5.50 and you are complaining about paying less than $2????

  it's a number, nothing more. I dated a woman 16 years older than me for a while and it wass great, I'd never let age get in the way.

  ok- chat doesnt work on my puter... using internet explorer, tried "f5"... shows me "in" but i can't see any text posting up... plus the user list comes up in "code"....what is wrong (i changed isp's awhile back- do i need to reset something?).

  PHYSICAL FOOD AT THE PROPER TIME

  has anyone here tried the atkins diet or something like it?

  i was looking at some info that a co-worker sent me about being overweight.

  i desperately need to lose a lot of weight, but i'm starving all the time and have packed on the 30 lbs.

  I did Atkins last year and lost about 30 lbs pretty quick- in about 3 months. Thing is it all goes back on if you go back to eating normally and haven't the time to exercise (especially if you stop smoking too!!!) so now I'm back to the weight I was and am just trying to cut out bread, pasta and all white flower.

  I talked it over with my doc and as I am scraping at the bottom end of being obese according to my BMI (which is obviously bullshit, I'm just short for my weight!), he told me I would definitely get adult onset diabetes if I didn't pull my finger out and get some exercise.

  If you can get a bit more exercise it helps alot, I found that the best diet for maintainable weight loss was slimming world. Not sure if you have it over there but it's all down to food combining - not mixing proteins and starches in the same meal. The bonus is that you can eat as much as you like of the right foods on each specific day so never be hungry.
